Bangalore, 21st July 2026 — Rotary Bangalore Ulsoor celebrated a memorable milestone as it installed Rtn. Adv. Syedul Jalvath as its President for the year 2026-27, along with the Office Bearers and Avenue Directors for 2026-27, in a grand and inspiring ceremony held at the Rotary House of Humanity, Ulsoor, Bangalore. The Installation Officer for the occasion was AKS Rtn. Ravishankar Dakoju, District Governor, who formally installed the new President and the incoming Board.
The evening began on a spiritually uplifting note with an invocation ceremony, featuring the lighting of the traditional lamp and the watering of a plant — a symbolic gesture of gratitude to Mother Earth, in line with the District’s ongoing environmental initiative, Project Dhanyavad.
The event witnessed the gracious presence of several distinguished Rotary leaders, including Past District Governor Rtn. Rajendra Rai, Past District Governor Rtn. Fazal Mahmood, and Club PDG Rtn. Manjunath Shetty. The evening was further enriched by the participation of Dhanyavad Presidents of various Rotary clubs, along with Rotarians of Ulsoor Club and their families, who came together to celebrate this important occasion.
Past President Rtn. Vijayakumar P welcomed and invited all dignitaries to the dais and presided over the proceedings, setting the tone for a smooth and dignified handover. Following this, the newly installed President Rtn. Adv. Syedul Jalvath formally took charge and addressed the gathering, sharing his vision and priorities for the year 2026-27.
In his address, District Governor AKS Rtn. Ravishankar Dakoju delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the significance of Project Dhanyavad and commending the Rotarians of Ulsoor Club for their remarkable and consistent contributions to community service.
Adding further significance to the evening, six new members were formally inducted into the club, strengthening its growing family of changemakers. The event also recognized the tireless efforts of Rotarians who have wholeheartedly contributed across key focus areas — Healthcare, Education, and Environmental Services — staying true to Rotary’s guiding principle of “Service Above Self.”
